Field Operations
The people on the jobsites are the ones that implement the client’s vision. The superintendents, foremen, operators, laborers, and teamsters play a crucial role in the completion of a job. This cohesive unit is the reason NBC completes jobs safely, productively, and in a timely manner.
The superintendents are the overseers of their projects in their area of coverage. NBC has at least one superintendent for surface and underground operations for our area of coverage which is designated into the North, South, and East regions. The superintendents will communicate with the project management team maintaining or altering the job schedules if situations may arise. They will also manage a group of foremen whom are responsible for efficiently maintaining the flow of production on one or a few jobs. They will discuss various strategies ranging from equipment utilization to budgeting with the goal of minimizing costs and time for the client.
