Project Management
The purpose of the project management department is to maintain a continuous flow of information between clients, subcontractors, outside agencies, and NBC so that the project is completed accurately and on time. This is accomplished through efffective communication between all parties. Each client has a single point of contact whose sole resonsibility is to communicate with the customer on a regular basis. The project manager integrates data provided by their team, which is comprised of a project engineer, field supervisors, and the administrative staff. Our team will make sure the appropriate procedures are followed to enable the job to start and continue to operate until completion. These procedures have to be tracked and logged on a regular basis so information is not lost or unaccounted for. Some of these procedures include analyzing spec books for the proper methods of implementation and materials, processing submittals, issuing requests for information (RFI), and drafting change requests (CR’s).
Our proactive project management team will keep you informed, respond to your needs, and provide innovative solutions to situations as they arise. We will help assist in developing procedures and methods that are unique to the project with the goal of reducing costs and time until project completion. Each client is given periodic reports outlining projected and actual expenses, how the costs are determined, and when each phase of the project will be complete. The project schedule is maintained and updated on a regular basis and is reviewed and confirmed with superintendents and foremen to assure that each member of the the team has the most current information. This allows for more productive monthly progress billing meetings between owners, NBC, and subcontractors to make sure all of the facts are fully disclosed and accounted for.
